adidas x Dan Freebairn | #adidascollect
April 2017 saw adidas and I launch our first collaborative project; adidas Collect. We created a series of A5, exclusive collectable sneaker prints/cards. One print is included in each and every online order placed on adidas.com, shipped within Europe. One key element to the project is that the prints are inserted at random, so customers never know what you’re going to get. Furthermore, there's an adidas heart design which is Limited Edition, a smaller print run, so more exclusive and harder to get. The aim of the project is to encourage customers to get into the idea of collecting the cards, as well as sharing photos of their cards/collections on social media with #adidascollect, swap duplicate prints and hunt for missing cards. The reverse side of each card highlights a URL, adidas.com/collect. Here people can see all the available designs, check to see which cards they are missing and in time discover new designs. Find out more about the project and a little more about Dan. adidas collect is still active as of today. We're currently working towards adding new cards and adding some additional elements to the project.
